Suzanne de Laval is an architect and PhD. She has experience as practising architect at Wikforss Architect’s Office in Uppsala, as a municipality planner at the City Planning Office in Uppsala, as a researcher at Royal Institute of Technology, KTH, in Stockholm and as educational manager at FFNS Architects.
Suzanne de Laval has developed methods for evaluation of the built environment and she has executed several evaluations of housing projects and road design projects. She has also participated in dialogue projects as dialogue facilitator or as researcher documenting and evaluating. She has developed methods for Swedish Road Administration’s design methodology.
Suzanne de Laval is active in the Swedish Association of Architects as chairman of a working group for Built Environment Education in school, ARKiS, and she was 2008-2010 member of the board of Arkitekturmuseet.
